AIE BRIDGE, ASSAM
This bridge is one of the longest bridges, constructed by the company in Assam.
The River Aie is a perennial river, is a major Tributary of Manas river, originating from Bhutan.
The completion of this bridge, has connected many important areas and villages in the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts in Bongaigaon and Chirang district.
It has also opened another route of accessibility to Bhutan and developed the communication system which in turn, has considerably improved the socio-economic condition of the entire area.
The project was completed 55 days before the stipulated date of completion. The bridge was inaugurated and opened for traffic on 25-05-2013 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Assam on 25-05-2013 in the presence of Chief of B.T.C. The company was given a commendation certificate for the early completion of the bridge.
