BERIPATTAN BRIDGE, J&K
The bridge is located near the international Border and is considered to be of utmost importance for the Defence of our country. The existing steel suspension bridge connecting Naushera and Sunderbhani Town with Poonch and Akhnoor was constructed in 1960. The Bridge was damaged twice during 1965 and 1961 Indo-Pak war and the abutment tower developed cracks. To cater for requisite Army vehicular needs and civilian needs the bridge was entrusted to D2S Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. by B.R.O. The proposed design was approved for construction and the work was started on 22nd June 2009 and completed and handed over to 30th April 2012 to the B.R.O. The bridge was inaugurated by Shri Madan Lal Sharma Member of Parliament on 24th May 2012.

Location: Km 13.795 on road Sunderbani-Beripattan-Naushera in J&K
Structure: PSC Box Superstructures and RCC Deck Slab on open foundation.
